Welcome to BibBuy. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. What BibBuy Is

BibBuy is an online marketplace that connects people who want to sell their race bibs with people who want to buy them. BibBuy facilitates the connection and payment between buyers and sellers but is not a party to the race bib transfer itself.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use BibBuy. By creating an account, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these terms.

3. Seller Responsibilities

As a seller, you agree that:

• The bib you list is legitimately yours and you have the right to transfer it.
• You will check with the race organiser that transfers are permitted before listing.
• All listing details (race name, date, distance, city) are accurate.
• You will cooperate with the buyer to complete the official bib transfer with the race organiser.
• You will not list the same bib on multiple platforms simultaneously without removing it immediately upon sale.
• Your asking price is a minimum of $1.00.

4. Buyer Responsibilities

As a buyer, you agree that:

• You will contact the seller promptly after purchase to arrange the bib transfer.
• You understand that BibBuy cannot guarantee the race organiser will approve the transfer — this is subject to the individual race's policies.
• Payments are final once processed through Stripe. Refunds are subject to our refund policy below.

5. Payments & Platform Fee

All payments are processed securely through Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment processor. By completing a purchase, you authorise BibBuy to charge the listed amount to your payment method. Seller payouts are initiated only after the bib transfer process has been confirmed — your funds do not go directly to the seller at the time of purchase.

BibBuy charges a 13% platform fee on every transaction. This fee is deducted from the seller's payout and is non-refundable except in cases where a valid Buyer Protection claim has been approved. The listed price shown to buyers is the full amount charged — no additional fees are added at checkout.

6. Buyer Protection

BibBuy offers Buyer Protection on every transaction. Your payment is held securely and sellers are not paid out until the transfer is under way. If the seller is unable to complete the official bib transfer — for any reason, including a race organiser refusing the transfer — you are entitled to a full refund of the purchase price.

To initiate a Buyer Protection claim, contact us at bibbuycustomersupport@gmail.com within 7 days of the purchase date and include your order details. We will investigate and, where the claim is valid, process your refund within 5–10 business days. BibBuy's platform fee is non-refundable in all cases.

7. Prohibited Uses

You may not use BibBuy to:

• List bibs you do not own or have no right to transfer.
• Misrepresent race details, dates, or distances.
• Engage in fraudulent transactions.
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users.
• Circumvent our payment system by completing transactions off-platform.

8. Listing Removal

BibBuy reserves the right to remove any listing at any time, without notice, if we believe it violates these terms or our community standards.

9. Limitation of Liability

BibBuy is a marketplace platform and is not responsible for the actions of buyers or sellers, or for a race organiser's decision to approve or deny a bib transfer. To the maximum extent permitted by law, BibBuy's liability is limited to the amount of the transaction in dispute.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of BibBuy after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
